Oxidations
All of our fixtures are handcrafted of the highest quality copper which will age and patina gracefully over time when exposed to the elements. Once a lantern is constructed, it is put through an oxidation process which visually ages the copper 10-15 years, resulting in a bronze color. For customers wanting a darker look, Bevolo also offers fixtures in a dark oxidation, which results in an almost black finish (see images).
