History of French Quarter Lights
French Quarter Lights Crafted by Bevolo
Bevolo's specially crafted French Quarter Light was designed with New Orleans in mind. A. Hays Town and Andrew Bevolo, Sr., put their minds and talents together in the 1940s to create the most well known and enduring French Quarter light with antique copper and hand-riveted construction.
“The French Quarter lantern is a trademark of New Orleans,” says Bevolo. “This is a company that was born and bred here, using local artists and craftspeople.”
Lighting the French Quarter Has Never Been So Beautiful
Bevolo has taken the task of lighting the French Quarter seriously with our New Orleans trademark Bevolo French Quarter Lanterns available with a variety of bracket designs. French Quarter lights are specially designed for natural gas, liquid propane and electric lighting. Whether indoors or out, this lantern will add charm to any space.
BEVOLO Gas & Electric Lights has a history of creating the most beautifully crafted traditional and antique lighting. We firmly believe that old world craftsmanship is what truly makes our French Quarter lighting and all of our fixtures last a lifetime. In fact, lanterns that were built 60 years ago are still burning in the French Quarter!
